Anglers Court #2 is one of several original 1940s fishing bungalows arranged around a shared courtyard in central Old Town Port Aransas. The cottage has a private entrance and carries the character of the original bungalow era, clean and compact, with a quiet feel that guests consistently note despite being steps from the Alister Street shops, bars, and restaurants. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee station with complimentary coffee, tea, cream, and sugar, dishes, and silverware. Note: there is no stove, so the kitchen does not support full meal cooking.
Bedrooms
The cottage sleeps up to 3 in 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The bedroom holds a queen bed. For the third guest, the owner description notes the max-occupancy of 3; contact PAVC to confirm the third sleeping arrangement before booking.
Outside
A shared patio with a charcoal grill, spatula, and tongs is available to all Angler's Court guests. A hot/cold outdoor alfresco shower is accessible from the back door for rinsing off after a day out. On-site parking includes one designated spot assigned to this cottage.
The setting
Anglers Court sits in the heart of Old Town, within walking distance of the historic Alister Street shops and the Port Aransas Museum. Castaways Seafood and Grill is about 100 steps away and Treasure Island Bar and Club about 150 steps. Shorty's Place, a Port Aransas institution since 1946, is a short walk along Alister Street. For a local raw bar worth knowing, KC's Oyster Shack puts out a sign-up sheet at 3pm that fills fast, so add your name early. The beach at Horace Caldwell Pier is about a 15-minute drive; a golf cart booked through PAVC on the website is the easiest way to get there.
