True Blue Bungalow sits in a quiet block of central Old Town Port Aransas, putting the Alister Street shops, restaurants, and bars within a short golf-cart ride. Inside, an open living and dining room anchors the first floor with a full kitchen, laptop-friendly workspace, and Wi-Fi. The fenced-in backyard is one of the roomiest on the island, drawing families and pet owners alike. Covered parking keeps at least one vehicle out of the coastal sun.
Bedrooms
The home sleeps up to 8 across two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has two queen beds. Two full bathrooms serve the group comfortably, a detail guests with families consistently call out.
Outside
A sun deck off the home is well-suited to morning coffee or an evening outside. The fully fenced backyard provides private space for kids, dogs, and alfresco dining. A dedicated outdoor area for rinsing off beach sand and pets makes returning from the water easy. The property accommodates a boat, RV (with 50-amp hookup), and up to 6 vehicles.
The setting
The Ave G beach access is about a 4-minute golf-cart ride away, and a rented golf cart from PAVC's website makes the trip straightforward. The Alister Street shops, FINS Grill & Icehouse, Castaways Seafood and Grill, and the Port Aransas Museum are all reachable in a few minutes by cart. For anything off-island, Port A Taxi covers ground that Uber and Lyft don't reliably reach. Shorty's Place, anchoring the scene since 1946, is among the closest landmarks to the front door.
