Anglers Court is a cluster of original fishing bungalows built in the early 1940s, and #15 sits within that courtyard among its siblings, all sharing a grassy common space. The interior is a clean, light-filled single room with a queen bed, a kitchenette, and a private entrance. Saltwater Gypsys boutique, Aloha Acai, and a pet shop share the lot, so a smoothie bowl and a browse are steps from the door. A dedicated property manager is available around the clock during your stay.
Bedrooms
The bungalow sleeps 2 in a queen bed, right-sized for a couple. Bed linens are provided, and room-darkening shades keep mornings as dark as you want them. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, complimentary coffee, dishes, and wine glasses. Note: there is no stove, so plan on dining out or using the gas BBQ grill on the shared patio.
Outside
The patio has outdoor seating and a gas BBQ grill stocked with utensils, shared among Angler's Court guests. An outdoor shower is available for rinsing off after the beach. The courtyard sits under a canopy of palms typical of Old Town's original cottage character.
The setting
Castaways Seafood and Grill is about 100 steps away, and Treasure Island Bar and Club about 150. The Alister Street shops, restaurants, and the Port Aransas Museum are all within walking distance, with Shorty's Place, a Port Aransas institution since 1946, anchoring the nightlife. The beach at Horace Caldwell Pier is about a 15-minute drive. For a local meal, KC's Oyster Shack is a beloved Old Town raw bar worth noting: the sign-up sheet goes out at 3 p.m. and fills fast, so add your name early.
