The Anchor is the largest of the five Dancing Dunes cabins, occupying the center spot on the shared porch a block and a half from the Gulf. Inside, 1,200 square feet of open-concept living keeps the whole group together: a deep sectional, a smart TV, and a dining table that fits everyone. The full kitchen is updated and well-equipped, with a gas range and everything needed to cook full meals at home. A full-size washer and dryer round out the main living floor.
Bedrooms
Three bedrooms sleep up to 8 across two queen rooms and a bunk room. One queen bedroom has an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower; the second queen is separated by a barn door. The bunk room holds two sets of bunks, one full-over-twin and one twin-over-twin, making it a natural fit for kids or younger guests traveling together.
Outside
A wide covered porch with rocking chairs faces a grassy courtyard where there is room to run and relax. The outdoor dining area and grill sit under a palapa, and the courtyard has space set aside for horseshoes and volleyball. Dogs are welcome with a pet fee, and dog bowls are stocked in the cabin.
The setting
A dedicated sidewalk out front leads straight to Beach Access Point 6, about a 3-minute walk. The Alister Street shops, restaurants, and the Port Aransas ferry are a short golf-cart ride away. Shorty's Place, anchoring the scene since 1946, and island dining at spots like FINS Grill and Castaways Seafood are all within easy reach. Golf carts, kayaks, beach gear, and fishing charters can be added directly through PAVC on the website.

Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking as long as check-in is at least 14 days away, and any time 30 or more days before check-in. From 14 to 29 days before check-in, 50% of the nightly rate and cleaning fee is refunded. Inside 14 days the booking is non-refundable; we may offer a credit or a partial refund if the home re-rents, at our discretion. Taxes and pass-through fees are always refunded. No refunds for weather unless a mandatory evacuation order is issued for your dates.
