The Crab Shack is an open-concept Port Aransas vacation rental built for families who actually cook, gather, and stay awhile. The kitchen anchors the main living area with an oversized island, a Keurig coffee station stocked with coffee, tea, creamer, and hot chocolate, and a full suite of baking and cooking equipment down to cake pans and a citrus press. The living room pairs plush seating with a 72-inch smart TV and a surround sound system. A private entrance and on-site parking round out the arrival experience.
Bedrooms
This 3-bedroom home sleeps up to 10 guests across three distinct sleeping setups. The primary bedroom holds a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a spacious closet. The third bedroom fits four on twin bunk beds, each bunk with its own personal light, making it a natural fit for kids or a group of four traveling together.
Outside
The second-floor balcony seats four and looks out over the neighborhood. Under the home, a covered outdoor seating area with a table gives the group a second place to eat and hang out. A propane grill with foil, tongs, skewers, lighter, and grill spray is ready to go for cookouts.
The setting
The Ave G beach access is about a 2-minute drive away, and a golf cart, bookable directly through PAVC on the website, is the easiest way to get there and back. The Alister Street shops, restaurants, and bars at the heart of Old Town are roughly a 2-minute drive away, putting FINS Grill & Icehouse, Castaways Seafood and Grill, and Shorty's Place, open since 1946, all within easy reach. Port A Taxi is a reliable local option when ride-shares run thin on the island.
