“Easy place to find, clean, great location”
“I was honestly surprised this stay didn’t meet my standards given the many recent positive reviews—so here’s my perspective. The location is great (about a 3-minute drive to the beach), but the property itself felt lacking. The deck/backyard were not usable due to broken gates, unsafe stairs, and debris, and the outdoor furniture was broken. Inside, there were maintenance issues (loose floorboards, broken blinds affecting privacy), minimal kitchen supplies, and no basic cleaning items or laundry detergent. Overall, great location, but the condition and amenities didn’t match expectations.”
“When we checked in we noticed some damage with one of the deck pillars. I messaged him that night (we got in a little late) and he was there fixing it the following morning. Super impressed.”
“The home was very close to beaches and restaurants. Was quiet and nice to have a private home versus condo where you could hear others. Hot water and A/C worked well. Place was very dirty though - dust on kitchen cabinets and drawers, dusty blinds, dirty couch pillows, black spots in shower, and sticky/grimy floor that we ended up hand mopping. Back deck was slanting and last couple stairs missing (was told when calling for check in instructions). Floor boards were coming up and held down with some screws. Most of patio chairs in photos had holes in them and weren’t usable. Had to call host for check in instructions and door code and was locked out on second to last day.”
“Very beautiful home! Highly recommend staying here, we just wanted to get away for a few days and this place was perfect. Feels very private and everything fun to do is only a short 3-5 minute drive. Also if you plan on staying here and like Thai food. Try Noms kitchen right down the road!”
“Plenty of space. Quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to the beach.”
“Cute house within walking distance to the beach. House was clean, kitchen had dishes and appliances, and washer / dryer was available. View were ok from the balcony, houses and storage lots. We would definitely choose this one again.”
“During our stay we discovered the house had a serious flea problem. My family, including our infant, was bitten, and we had to leave and stay in a hotel. On top of that, the home also had roaches and other unsanitary items around, and the host offered no real resolve to the situation. The whole experience was stressful and disappointing. We have documentation of everything and have shared it with Airbnb. I would not recommend this property until it’s been properly cleaned and exterminated.”
